3 stars because when it first came in my boss was laughing so hard I thought she was going to need the potty.

But it didn't fly for the preschoolers at all. The beginning was fun having them guess what he was going to eat next, but it goes downhill after potty. Not everyone knows saltines, and vomit gave everyone pause...

A very unique alphabet book that shows the day's progression of a creature. The picures are on the small side so it might make a better one-on-one story.

Good book to react along with your child.

This book was adorable. I have visions of going through this with my little someday. (She has already had a few incidents where she just kept eating even though she really didn't need to....)

I like it when an "alphabet book" tells a real, concrete story instead of just being a collection of pictures - or when it's only just one word per letter BUT the illustrations are so busy I can't use it in storytime.

Even with the "vomit," I'm thinking this will still be a hit.

As far as alphabet books go, I would buy this one for my friends.

This wasn’t my favorite but it did get a smile out of the little one.

This creature eats his way through the ABCs. Sometimes it's tasty things and sometimes it's things a critter shouldn't eat. He ends the day with a tummy ache and comforted by it's caregiver, then sent to bed for sleep. It's a quick, fun ABC book to share.

Kids may miss the fact that it's an alphabet book, because some of the letters are filled by onomatopoeia. Still, they'll get a giggle when the creature starts to eat non-food items.

Food shenanigans and potty humor!

Four stars because even though I wasn’t particularly impressed with it, my first graders LOVED IT.
