Katie Fforde

Nice, funny, romantic story from Katie Fforde - what i have come to expect from her writing.

This story follows three women, May, Sally and Harriet, who are down on their luck (and love!). After getting screwed over by Slimball Slater they start up their own cleaning company, which helps them all find the person they are meant to be, and be with. Misunderstandings follows for all three womens love lives, but thats half the fun of the journey.

If you have liked Katies other books then this one is worth a try too :)

Light and easy read.

One of my favorites!

Awful. I used to really like Katie Fforde but her books have just not aged well. This is terrible. The sexual politics are from the 70s yet the book was apparently written in the 90s. Incredibly awful and cringy from Sally actively demonstrating her home making skills to win her man (urgh) to Harriet requiring her father figure man to face down her grandparents , it’s just the pits. As for that scene where Hugh pushes himself on May and then says he was teaching her a lesson, like what? Ick. If someone did that to me I’d like to think I’d dump them forever. Avoid. No more Katie for me I'm afraid.
