April 2019 - a good early introduction to dinosaurs - one spread shows the skeleton, and the next shows the full animal with the name. More information about each is in the back matter, but I think I would have preferred it as a sidebar next to each dinosaur since it makes for smoother reading aloud. Ben is really into dinosaur bones so it was perfect for him.

There's essentially no text and no story in this book. The spreads alternate between one with the dinosaur skeleton and the name along with a definition of the name, the next spread is a scene of that dinosaur (and other kinds) doing what they do. The illustrations are nice and you could "picture walk" your way through this one with a group of kids by looking first at the skeleton, name, and definition then turning to the colored spread and asking the kids why they think the dinosaur got that name. A decent offering, but nothing special.
