Brilliant and super clear. I found this book to be extremely illuminating and well worth the read.

Very interesting and I learned a lot, but it was infuriating to see that little has changed over time. I definitely will pick this up again YT I needed a break.

Good book as an introduction to the topic, I found the information and subjects covered interesting.
The format lends itself to a very either/or mindset without examining the gray area between white feminism and intersectional feminism. I think the chapter on Dr. Ferebee particularly plays into this.
It also felt to me like the white feminists came about first in the book, in most chapters they seemed to be centered with the intersectional feminists folded into their projects and with their names first in the chapter titles.

this was more introductory than i was expecting, but there isn't anything wrong with that-- i think this would be useful for people who are not already familiar with much of the source material. schuller covers a lot of ground in a structure that makes sense and makes clear connections between the feminist thinkers she focuses on. the audiobook was wonderfully narrated as well!
