This actually made me question all film adaptations and made me annoyed.

(3.5) non fate caso a me è l'autismo che parla

Less a mystery and more a farewell, this was a sad ending to a wonderful memoir series.

The Final Problem seemed a bit underwhelming, as the reader is told and not shown how big Moriarty is a threat. We do not explore the antagonist's implication in Sherlock's life more than for a couple of short sentences. Fortunately, his appearance in Holmes' study is quite chilling but that is as profound and interesting as it gets. As a reader, you feel that Doyle had enough of Holmes and just made a quick cat-and-mouse story structure to finish off the story of the iconic hero.

Poor Watson. :(

A quick reread for Reichenbach Falls Day.
Not my favorite Sherlock Holmes story. But nearly the whole Canon is Five Stars to me. As a Sherlockian it’s crucial. Plus is it fun to discover some of the Canonical hiccups it presents.

read for class. i consider this the story that showcases the master detective/criminal difference and similarity

Mio caro Watson, lei guarda ma non vede. L'essenziale è invisibile agli occhi.
