Another brilliant book

Oh I don't even know where to start. I love that Juliet grew into her own person and found out what made her happy. Seeing Jax grow up as well was nice.
The Aflame sneak peek just ruined me.

Jax and K.C.'s story had all the angst I was hoping for! I absolutely loved their back and forth love me/hate me vibes. Definitely a favorite couple.

Swinging from 3.5 to 4 Stars. I can't make a decision. Jax was underwhelming and KC...I don't know. I feel like she needs another book for character development. Maybe they both do. Or maybe it was the jump in time between Rival and this one where we lose some of the connection to the characters...or maybe I'm having an off day. I don't know what it was, but yeah...not my favorite.

With all the hype over this installment, I thought it was going to take the top spot in the series, but Jared and Tate still rule supreme for me. Maybe it's because I just connect with them more, but I went in with expectations super high and spent the entire time worrying over Jared and Tate. Apparently with good reason. I'm going to be freaking the EFF out until April. Lawt.

I loved this book.... until the last 20%
I liked the back story and history of K.C's life. I enjoyed the banter and the romantic tattoos. But .....why did Jax have to cut his hair to be "cleaner" ? Especially considering his ethnic heritage.
Why the fck did Jax go and fck around at that party for? Uhhh, no. He didn't "cheat"
Yeah, whatever.
Might as well have.
Also the ending was so abrupt and then them running off to New Zealand? Huh?
Talk about whip lash.

this book just didn’t hit as hard as bully or rival tbh. i read falls boys before this (yeah ik) and i was like “ok maybe i’ll read falling away” but yeah no. sorry jax was kind of an asshole and i really tried to love him but he’s better in falls boys.

So far this book is... different. Penelope does a really great job at differentiating ehr characters stories whilst giving us updates on the other characters (Fallon and Madoc, Jared and Tate) I loved the story behind Juliet. More to come...
