I love, love, LOVED this book. Seeing even the tiniest peek into David Lynch's mind is such a gift, and so inspiring. I want to give this book to every creative individual I know.

Very slight, but charming. I think I would have liked it less if I didn’t listen along with the audiobook.

Mildly interesting to hear how a director puts together his films, but the main point of meditation did not get much attention. Instead of having an instructional viewpoint of how meditation can help with creativity, it read more as a memoir of David Lynch’s film career.
Rating something so personal and conversational feels odd. Simply chock full of wisdom and wit and personal experience/opinions.
Nothing Lynch ever wrote/did was made to be taken as scripture, his musings on meditation and creativity here merely offer another way to look at life. Suggestions for feeling more fulfilled or at peace if it’s something you’re searching for. Some real gems in this one and some hilarious stuff too.
