I loved the Hook-Up, and I got to say I loved The Friend Zone, as well. Loved it from start to finish. Loved it so much I almost didn't want it to end. Kristen Callihan knows how to write new adult romance books because the leads had chemistry. There were a few sexy scenes. I loved how Callihan shows positive female relationships, how Gray was a cook and smart, and how there was no drama. However, it was the text messages back and forth to each other that made me laugh. The way she writes the story is well done and superb. It was a great read. Recommend to fans of The Hook-Up. Hopefully there is a sequel.

I really liked Grey and Ivy's relationship strangers to friends to lovers even if focused more on physical stuff. Still much better then first book.

I think this book is my favorite out of the lot of them. Gray and Ivy start out as texting friends and have some great banter. Then they became real life friends, before becoming more. Not totally a slow-burn, but enough of one to make their relationship feel more believable.

It does play on a trope I don't like, but how it progressed wasn't how I thought it would be.

I really don't know what else to say about this one besides, I loved it and I enjoyed the dialogue. The couple is great and I enjoyed being able to connect with past characters more as well.

“Every inch, Ivy,” he whispers against them.
I open my eyes and smile. My arms wind around his neck, holding him close. “You said that once, before your last game. But you never really told me what it means.”
Gray’s hands move to my waist. “Before you, it meant I’ll fight for every inch of yardage, never give up until I’m in the end zone. But now?” His blue eyes meet mine. “It means I’ll fight for every inch of you. That I love every inch of you.”

4.5 stars. i absolutely wasn’t expecting to love this book so much, i didn’t like the first one at all, so i kept putting the rest of the series off. but i’m glad to say i was pleasantly surprised and gray and ivy have my heart!

The prologue got me and I couldn't stop until I finished the book. The second book in the Game On series, The Friend Zone was EXACTLY what I needed to bleach my brains from the really crappy contemporary romance books I've been reading.

Confession: I'm in love with Gray Grayson. And Ivy Mac. Theirs is a relationship that makes me green with envy. From start to finish, they are funny, full of wit and banter and the flirtations fly off the page. And they are HOT. Seriously searing hot. I loved reading their relationship develop from strangers to friends to bffs to lovers. It was sweet and funny and I could not get enough.

I can't WAIT for book 3. (I'm hoping it'll be Dex and Fi)
