While I never would have expected Teagan would
get addicted to meth
, this was another fast paced story and he did a great job of setting up for the final book. Considering at this point, we know there is only one more book, it was still a really good isolated story as well as propelling the narrative. It was great to get Reggie's perspective and I'm excited to see how this series ends.

The plot of this book kind of repeats the previous novels. Teagan meets another super, gets in trouble, disaster strikes, drama between her and people around her, she saves the day and then small insight into the overarching plot is given. I also wish the characters had more dimension and would grow out of their original relationship with each other. They seem to make progress, but then by the end all the characters revert to how they were in the very beginning. Otherwise, the storyline was enjoyable and the overarching plot of the School keeps me interested enough to continue the series.

What the heck did I just read?! It was an insane rollercoaster of crazy sh*t that seemed to go all over LA.

The ZigZag man…. No, thank you. Put him in the f**k it bucket.

The ending… WHAT!?!? I can’t believe Jackson ended it like that.

I love these books, the series is written so well and done so creatively. Good pop culture and nerdy references, it’s drenched in rap and Hip Hop, which isn’t my thing but it’s good to read something outside my normal wheelhouse.

The Frost Files are worth your time and money.
