I loved reading the new bonus scenes in this book! Totally worth the buy!
Getting more involved which intrigues my overall interest in continuing on with the series.

1. Honestly, I stumbled onto this book while playing a stupid game where you 'choose' what happens in the story. I got addicted and then found out that there were books. So I bought them instantly. To protect myself I deleted the game as I knew I'd become a victim of mindlessly buying even more books

Selten habe ich ein Buch gelesen, dass so belanglos war wie diese(s). Ich musste mich fast durch jede Seite quälen und hätte es am liebsten abgebrochen. Katy ist die langweiligste und dümmste Protagonistin seit Langem und auch zu allen anderen Figuren konnte ich keine Beziehung aufbauen.

"Onyx" hatte eine originelle Handlung und prompt war die ganze Geschichte nur noch langweiliger und belangloser als der erste Band. Sogar das ständige Hin und Her zwischen Katy und Daemon war noch nerviger als in Teil 1, obwohl ich echt gedacht hatte, es könnte nicht noch schlimmer kommen.
Der Bonus Content wiederum war im Vergleich zum Rest ganz nett, aber auch nichts besonderes.
Kurzum, ich habe es gehasst und möchte nicht noch mehr Zeit damit zubringen, mich mit dieser Reihe zu beschäftigen.

3.5 Stars for the first two books
I liked the first one more than the second. But it reminded me so much of Twilight that it was comical some times. These books are such a fun and fast read. I love daemon! but Katie is so naive and frustrating. The ending was really fast paced and unexpected. can't wait to read the next book.

I loved this book so much! Katy is a well developed female character that actually can stand on her own and will not accept bullshit from Daemon even though she knows that she is in love with him. I also like that the aliens in this book are somewhat "realistic" and by that I mean that if there were aliens out there that came to this planet, this would be the way it would happen. I laughed, cried and yelled (Daemon piss me off sometimes) all through the book. Jennifer L Armentrout have created a real page turner and I cannot wait to pick up the rest of the series. Scratch that, I cannot wait to pick up ALL of her books!
Just finished Onyx...read Obsidian earlier this year. Both are good, but lots of little things are annoying. Will continue the series though, it's worth the read.
