I am reviewing this collection as a whole because I had the opportunity to read each of these novellas and I loved them all. Every novella either got me excited for a whole new to me series or it took me back to some favorite worlds I have already enjoyed and loved revisiting. I fell in love with all of these characters. I swooned. I laughed. I wanted to throw my kindle at times and this was in shorter stories. I definitely found some new authors to me and loved my favorites even more. I love anthologies for this reason and I look forward to more from each of these authors.

This was a great collection of stories from some of my favorite authors compiled together to give different perspectives and stories about falling in love. Hands down this anthology is one of my favorites that I have read.
Falling at First Sight by Willow Winters
Autumn and Trent's story was just the right amount of sweet intermixed with steamy. It was a very quick read but had me interested enough to want to read the next book about a secondary character that will be coming in Spring 2021.
Just for a Little While by Fiona Cole
I loved diving back into the sub-genre of teacher/student romance considering that is how I first discovered this author. It was hot and it was also intense watching these characters fall for each other. This is definitely a book that I would have loved to have had it be a full novel because there were a lot of areas that it could have been expanded on. In particular, I would have loved to watch the character growth in Arabella. Her interactions with her parents in the first chapter had me laughing out loud with how exasperating she was. I also would have liked to expand on Wilhem and his BDSM urgings.
Mr. Klein is Fine by Meghan Quinn
I loved getting glimpses of this author's snark and humor right off the bat in this story. It is one of the things I love most about her as an author. The premise of this story is one of my favorites and I would have liked to see more from the actual story The parts I did see were fantastic. Gunner's mouth was delicious and Lindsay was a lucky girl. I really wanted their connection extended when he comes to her apartment and sees her circumstances. However, knowing that they will be seen again in this author's book coming in November, did soothe a little of my disappointment.
The Fortune Teller by Sky Warren and Amelia Wilde.
This story had one of my favorite storylines. However, I found myself a little disappointed in the actual story because it was not easily confined to such a short novella. What little was there just served as a teaser when I wanted the main dish. The details were there and had me hooked. I just needed more sustenance.
Headmaster Tauren by Ella Fields.
After reading this, it reminded me why I love this author so much. I loved the world-building in Evil Love, but I wanted to dive deeper into the world of Nightingale. This novella gave me that chance. It took the mystique and intrigue to a whole new level and left me wanting more. It also might be the most titillating and decadent passage of writing that this author has written, and trust me when I say that she has written some hot things. There is a lot of story packed into just a few pages. It was bittersweet for this to end, but I feel that way about anything this author writes.
Over His Knee by Jade West
This author always has a way of making her stories so dang hot. There is just something about how she balances debauchery, and taboo together that makes it come alive without it feeling cheesy or creepy. I enjoyed watching Perdita and Mr. Markham traverse that fine line.
He Made Me Stay by K. Webster
I wasn't prepared for how this story made me feel. This touches on some pretty heavy topics. I liked that the author didn't shy away from them and also balanced the love aspect around acceptance and support for Jasper. For that message to be portrayed in such a short piece of work is a testament to this author's skill.
The Painter by Amelia Wilde
I will take any chance I can get to have the opportunity to dive back into this modern Mythological world. ANY. CHANCE. This was almost perfect, and when I say almost perfect, I mean the only thing that could have been better is if it had been a full story because the chemistry, angst, and desire that screamed from this short story had me begging for more. It was all the elements that I live for in romance and had me wanting to see more of Erich and Madison fleshed out. I wasn't ready to let them go after just a few chapters.
Dirty Little Secrets by Trilina Pucci
Holy Hotness, Batman. I don't know why I was surprised by this since this author has written one of my favorite book boyfriends of all time (Luca) but I was. I wasn't sure where this author was going with the story but I sure wasn't prepared for the twist that Ava discovered about Holt and Jackson. Loved the epilogue and how they navigated towards a HEA.
Fumbled Future by Meagan Brady
This was the only author that I was not familiar with and I will be rectifying that. I wanted to know more about not just Mia and Austin but the other secondary characters. Definitely had moments of angst of not knowing if love is enough. I cannot wait to go catch up on this author's backlog.

My review will be updated as I read each story.
HEADMASTER TAURIN BY ELLA FIELDS
I was expecting this book to be about Headmaster Taurin, but he was a background character. This story is about Rose and Cooper and is in the Evil Love world.
It was short, quick and steamy.
I would love it in full length to explore the new world theyve opened themselves up to.

All the stories in this anthology are 5 star but I am reviewing Fumbled Future by Meagan Brandy and He made me stay by K Webster.
Fumbled future. Meagan Brandy
This is Mia and Austin's story and Mia is Kalani's cousin from fumbled hearts.
Mia is working on a bridal gown for a bride, only to see the bride meeting her ex Austin, and she assumes that he is the groom.
Fantastic short story that I really enjoyed and I look forward to more stories from this series.
He asked me to stay. K Webster
Everyone needs a Kit in their lives and he was such a wonderful happy character who made me fall in love with his personality instantly.
Jasper is in the depths of despair and Kit barges into his life and rescues him.
This is a short MM story that has massive impact. Brilliantly written with Fantastic characters that you can't help but love.

Review for He Made me Stay by K. Webster-
Oh, my heart! The emotions!
I have never read a short story that was this full and satisfying.
The characters are amazing and very multi-dimensional.
I’m in love with Jasper and Kit!
~”Jolly Rancher green apple eyes”~
The story blends despair and melancholy with incredible positivity and quirky brilliance.
The words are so beautiful! Poetic and heartfelt.
Truly an amazing reading experience. I felt so much for the characters. I shed quite a few tears. That’s tough to do to me, especially with a short story!
Incredible journey about two young men that are easy to love and root for. They absolutely stole my heart!
I’m in love and in awe of this story and the writing.
It’s a must read!

Review on the story Headmaster Taurin by Ella Fields
Holy sh*t! This short story was extremely hot. Panty dropping hot! I never knew Ella Fields could write like that. I'm not into short stories because most often I miss so many things, as I'm into character development and all that takes time to develop. This story however has it all and I truly wish I could have had a full book with Cooper and Rose's story.
I don't know about the other short stories in this anthology, but if they are half as good as Ella's, this book is worth every penny!

Fall at First Sight by Willow Winters
This was a quick lil story from Willow about Autumn who's been lusting after Trent Morgan ever since she saw him last year, but she's not that bold to let him know how she feels.
Trent's been watching and waiting for Autumn since last year and this year he's not letting her get away from him this year besides he'll see her everyday Mon-Fri, because he's her son's former teacher and the co-owner of her son's school.
Pretty Little Secrets by Trilina Pucci
Holy Moley was this story a fire burner for real. This is one quick read hot enough to melt a kindle all while leaving you dying for more. This lil story is about Ava and her wild summer and the 2 boy's Jackson and Holt she'd met to only realize their brother's. Phew talk about some hot summer night's

I have only read He Made Me Stay by K Webster and it was such an emotionally charged story that I was crying and laughing in the same breath. It was heart wrenching to witness Jasper losing his twin and the devastating effects that had on him. But then a breath of fresh air came i to his life with pink strawberry lips by the name of Kit.
A beautifully written story!
