Fumbled Future by Meagan Brandy: 4 Stars
I really enjoyed this little short story about Austin and Mia.

The tension was certainly there and I got enough of a glimpse into their past to see that they had a serious missed connection that could have been something really great. Young love often ends in heartbreak and these two were no exception. It was clear where both of their hearts were in the end though! I loved the angst between them and how explosive every interaction was. The misunderstanding of why Austin was in town and Mia’s reaction to it was quite comical!

The story was brief and to the point, but FULL of heat! I haven’t had the chance to read any of Meagan’s previous books from the Fumbled world yet, but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything or lacking information in order to understand the supporting characters’ dynamic and relationships. The author did a great job of summarizing things for the reader so you didn’t feel left in the dark.

All the stories i read was 5+ stars! I also found another author to love!

I've never read a Ella Fields book before but after reading her short story and how hot it was I'm definitely looking into more of her work!

The books i read i wasn't ready for them to be over i would of happily read full sized versions of them too.

I loved Meghan Quinn's, I loved having the familiarity of the characters i saw and meeting new ones. K Webster's, was hot AF i knew it would be bit K Webster writing M/M so well. Fiona Cole's one was amazing, i was hooked from the first page and the steam was off the charts. And after speaking to my friend who said i NEED to read Ella Fields book, I'm so glad i did because it introduced me to another fantastic author!

I'll probably go back and read the others but these ones really stood out for me!

What a fantastic collection!! Seriously, I cannot get over how much I enjoyed every story in this collection! Stories of September has got to be my new favourite romance collection. It’s definitely one I’ll be recommending as a must read- it’s a great mix of everything from sweet and swoony to all out sexy and forbidden, with angst and all the feels with the underlying school based theme. What’s more is the each story is a complete standalone and brand new never published before.
I was held captive by each story- the promise of of having something to appeal to every lover of romance.
The authors featured in this collection did not disappoint. It was such a great way to read well loved authors favourites alongside new to me authors.

Do I have any favourites? Each story had a different impact on me but Just a Little While and He Made Me Stay are the two that really hit me in the emotional feels. I’ve read Fiona Cole before but K Webster is new to me and I will definitely be bumping her up on my TBR authors.
Headmaster Taurin, Over His Knee and Dirty Little Secrets were sexy hot and forbidden

I haven't picked up a full anthology since the end of last year and I'm so glad I picked this one up. There are only two authors I have read before, and I love both of their books. The other nine authors are new to me and I've found some I want to check out for sure!

There is no way for me to pick out which novella was my favorite. I enjoyed the majority of them so much! Some of them were sweet but all of them were H-O-T!

I can't wait to go dive into some of these new-to-me authors' previous and future full length works! If you're looking for a new anthology to add to your TBR and love steamy hot romances grab this one up now!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

Review of Fumbled Future by Meagan Brandy.

Fumbled Hearts was my first Meagan Brandy book and I was so excited to revisit this world and the amazing characters in it in the novella Fumbled Future, although this short story can be read as a complete standalone.

Mia is about to handover her first wedding dress from her own business as a seamstress. When she goes to the deliver the dress to the bride, who should be there too but Austin, the guy from her high school friends-with-benefits relationship. Mia has been reflecting on how things ended between them over the past few weeks, and what has happened since, and realised she needed to reach out to see if there’s anything still left between them. But when he arrives in town, is it for her, or a whole different reason?

This was such a fun novella, with some angst and drama, but the same hilarity and banter that comes from this group of friends. The reunion of Austin and Mia was sweet, I could tell that feelings were always there between them, especially throughout Fumbled Hearts (book 1). Mia thought she made the right decision back in high school, but it was clear that she had some regrets. Austin was determined and ready to put it all on the line for the future he wanted. Together, they were such a hot couple, their heat and chemistry came through even in only a few chapters. It was also nice to catch up with the other characters too, especially Nate, Kalani, Parker and Kenra.

Fumbled Future has given me a taste of this world again and I am desperate for more, I wonder if Meagan has any more stories with these characters left to tell. If you loved Fumbled Hearts and Defenseless Hearts, you’re going to adore Fumbled Future!

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.*

Review for Me Klein is Fine by Meghan Quinn

I quickly read this novella for Gunner and Lindsay halfway through reading See Me After Class by Meghan because I NEEDED Gunner and Lindsay’s story. Whilst it’s not needed to be read before this book, I highly recommend it because it fills in some gaps and is set just before See Me After Class.

I loved Lindsay and Gunner’s chemistry, and I really hope we see them becoming a real family soon!!!

Just for a Little While by Fiona Cole

Holy hotness batman! This delicious little novella brought the heat. Arabella and Willem were so tantalizing mouthwatering. I loved Arabella’s feistiness and Will was just so damn hot. These two together brought the flames, their chemistry was just spectacular. I wish this were longer because I needed and wanted so much more.

Just for a Little While is a delectable forbidden, age-gap, and student-teacher romance that was *chef’s kiss* so good.

Headmaster Taurin by Ella Fields

Well, well, well if this wasn’t smokin’ hot. I lost count at the times I was fanning myself. After I read Evil Love there was no question that I wanted more of this world. Rose and Cooper have been best friends and childhood sweethearts. The time has come for them to be initiated to the secret society known as Nightingale. This new world unleashes dark desires within Rose and Cooper neither one of them knew they had. And boy when they give into those desires holy hell was it sizzling hot.

Headmaster Taurin took me right back to the Evil Love world which I very much enjoyed. This novella was hot, filthy and sexy. And it’s no question I need more of this addicting universe.

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book*

Fumbled Future:

So what do you do when your dog wakes you up early because she gets in the trash? Grab your kindle and cosy up with an arc of course!
I love Meagan's books. And Fumbled Future is no different. It takes you back to the world of the Tender Hearts series. It is a standalone short story, but characters from Fumbled Hearts and Defenseless Hearts DO make an appearance, and it is worth reading both books before this.
This follows Mia and Austin. Mia is staying with her cousin Kalani and her man Nate, when her ex Austin shows up in the worst way imaginable. Old feelings immerge, as memories surface and even though they fumbled their future together before, they must now decide if they are all in, or if it's all in the past.
This story was short, sweet and sexy. Mia and Austin found each other again, but not under the best circumstances. Mia was feisty. She was great friends with her cousin Kalani. She was fun, and hard working. Austin was sweet and sexy and perfect for Mia. This story was cute, and a nice great short story, perfect to read before bed, or first thing in the morning.
So if you love Meagan Brandy's books or are new to her, this is a great sweet story, in an anthology with other great authors! So grab your copy when it releases and enjoy these sweet and sexy stories! 5 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐.
