The third book focuses on Laurel, the baker, her magical cake creations and her lifelong love for Del, who considers her one of his girls, sisterly - or does he? I felt like the major conflict was the same as that in book 2, so that was a little disappointing. More set up in this book for the final book. Quick, enjoyable read.

I love Nora Robert’s & this bridal quartet is my favorite! Each story builds stronger into each other and Laurels journey to love was by far my favorite!

I am thrilled to see how these ladies stories end in the final book - Parker’s journey!

Let me start with this: I’ve now read this series 8 or 9 times in the past 12 years. This is my OG favorite romance series, and I love it more with every reread.

Laurel is one of my Soul Characters. She has a quick fire temper and a pragmatist approach. Her way of thinking feels familiar and comforting.

I also don’t always love friends-to-lovers, so the fact that Laurel and Del could make me obsessed with this book speaks highly of them.

The conversations that happen between the four best friends remain one of my favorite parts of this series! Their Found-Family bond and banter and honest discussions make these books human and hilarious.

As Del would say, this romance story has the perfect blend of tartness and sweetness. The ending scene makes my heart flutter every time. 

Overall, if you love romance books, especially those that center themselves around friendship, I full heartedly recommend this series.

O universo da Laurel não me conquistou tanto quando o universo da Emma, mas isso não significa que aproveitei menos a história. Continuo amando a dinâmica dos personagens, as histórias se interligando e todo o cenário da Votos, de Greenwich e agora do South Hampton também!
O romance da Laurel e do Del foi mais tranquilo e eu queria que fosse mais turbulento, eu esperava que fosse, pelo menos. Até então o casal que mais me conquistou foi a Emma e o Jack.
Agora estou ansiosa demais para ler o último livro que é sobre a Parker que é uma das melhores personagens e estou com as expectativas altas demais, tomara que isso não atrapalhe aahaha.

i liked this book less than the previous one. it had similar plot and problems. i didn’t like how mmc del assumed his role as a big brother to all the women. i didn’t like fmc’s issues with theirs wealth differences.

I've been looking forward to reading Laurel's story. She's my favorite Vows lady to date and there appeared to be so much lingering underneath. I adore the relationships/friendships with all the ladies and the guys. Sadly, the romantic aspect between Laurel and Dell was a little flat. I wanted more of a buildup and ending was completely rushed and off kilter with the rest of the story. Perhaps my aspirations were too high? Overall, it was a light, fun read that made my vacation more pleasant. Can't wait to read the finale.
