This book is AWESOME!
A primer written for fans of AFL, and published on the cusp of the inaugural AFLW competition, the women featured in this gorgeous little book are the best of the best of the womens AFL league. From diverse and interesting backgrounds, these women have committed to excelling in a sport where women have not been traditionally encouraged to participate.
With the great success of the AFLW, I hope that Hayes and Sometimes continue to produce a primer of the up-and-coming players each year. What a record of the progression of the game that would be!
