Review based on the individual comic issues contained in this collection.

I'm going to file this one under "WTF did I just read," pretend like I didn't read it, and move on. I knew things were going to be bad when the identity(ies?) of The One were revealed last volume, but I didn't really think it would end up level crazy. The did absolutely nothing to help.

I enjoyed this in a way I can't describe. I am not sure what it was that I just finished, but man did I enjoy the heck out of it!! It was awesome how this seemed to be a continuation of the Immortal Iron Fist series. This has been just one big long story and the title changes have been symbolic. The different series have not been reboots but more of a new chapter in the Book of the Iron Fist.
Kaare Andrews created a hell of a story. It feels like he poured his whole self into creating this. It may not be everyone's cup of tea. I absolutely loved the artwork here. I thought it elevated the book to another level. I read this on a tablet and got to experience the art as a whole picture instead of trying to flatten out the pages in a book.
I would love to see Kaare take on another title some time.

It was pretty good. It got better towards the end. I might like it better if I knew what was going on. It was not clear that this was volume two from the store I bought it from so I didn't know the backstory. I did enjoy the way it changed drawing designs from when it was the past and present.

This is how you destroy a legacy.
I get that Andrews was trying to do something new here, but you cannot just turn the personality of a character on its head in favour of a Dark Knight Returns homage. And suddenly when everything's over, he is a wiseass again?
This book was a mess. I loved The Immortal Iron Fist series because of its somewhat grounded approach, but this book had Danny killing gods left and right and one of the characters obtaining the power of the Iron Fist without any explanation.
