I really liked the problem solving in this book, and also the contrast between the dragonets of prophecy and the ones in the prologue. Overall: very entertaining.

This felt like it started a little slow, but it ended with a heck of a bang. I can hardly wait to steal book 4 from my daughter's shelf.

In Glory's story, we learn a lot more about RainWings, magical death spit, and the reasons for the other dragons' belief that RainWings are lazy and stupid. We see continued character growth from the other Dragonets of Destiny, though it is strongest growth obviously comes from Glory as she's the focus. It's really nice to see this dragon overcome her poor self-esteem and take charge. She has the opportunity to shine both on her own and as a member of a team, again reinforcing the common Wings of Fire theme that we can accomplish more together.

My recommendation for reading order of the Wings of Fire (WoF) series:
WoF #1-5
WoF Legends - Darkstalker
WoF #6-14
WoF Legends - Dragonslayer (this could be read after book #5, but that would spoil a sweet surprise present in book #14)

The WoF books follow a five book plot arc (with each book covering the growth arc of one character). If book 1 doesn't work for you, consider starting with book 6 or 11 to get invested in the world. Each book adds to the complexity of culture and history in the world, so you may miss a little if you skip books, but the overall plot and story will work.

A quick and easy read like the previous two
