I think this was my favourite of the 3. They seemed the most relatable characters and situations.

I was looking forward Kenan and Lotus book and wanted to love this book but it didn't hook me like previous books in this series.
They had sparks in previous book but here just at times, I didn't like her being constantly compared to little girl especially with what happened her as kid. There wasn’t enough interaction between them to really build a connection. It is well written even though flashbacks was way graphic I had to skip it.

I finally got around to this one-- the book that made me even start the series! I saw this recommended by Talia Hibbert and decided to give it try. I loved Long Shot, but disliked Block Shot, so I went into this one unsure how I'd feel.

Gosh this couple is so sweet. I loved them-- separately and together. They were mature, they worked together. Sure, there is angst, there are problems, but the story isn't as heavy as Long Shot. Still super emotional and gripping.

This book is totally worth the read, I'm glad I gave it a chance!

Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I appreciated that this was a slow burn. There was one too many plot twists keeping the main couple apart for my taste but overall I enjoyed the story
