A YA mystery/thriller that is totally far-fetched and implausible but also I couldn’t put it down once I got about eight chapters in. The best Megan Miranda book I’ve read. Also if it’s not too weird to have a crush on an 18-year-old fictional character (shut up; you know you were totally Team Edward), I have a big one on Ryan.

3.5 stars rounded up cause it was definitely GRIPPING.
Yet another Miranda backlist with a teen in crisis and all the adults around her are being terrible. I mean, she survives a terrifying car crash and, after dangling over a cliff side, the police only want her to admit it was her fault for texting or being tired or something? Wtf?
I always like the way Miranda writes friendships, though. There’s definitely a youthful element to these old ones that you can’t rely on the adults but definitely can rely on your friends.
A true page-turner here.

3.5 stars. I was mostly engaged in the book and this is the first of Miranda's that I've read and really liked. I did find myself skimming some parts and I thought the ending was meh but overall it was an enjoyable read. I also enjoyed the psych discussion regarding passing fear to children.

This was a quick read but too much over the top for my taste. It started off well and then when I got to the middle it was begining to drag a bit and then towards the end it just seemed as if I was reading the same words in each chapter. I know it should have been thrilling and exciting, but I didn't feel any of that while reading.

not too difficult of a mystery to figure out more suspense. But interesting psychological characteristics
This was a really good book. I spent most of the time wondering what was going to happen next and I didn’t want to stop reading.
