I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series! Her writing just absolutely sucks you in despite the disturbing scenes throughout. What a great story combo of romance, thriller, mystery and horror. Really enjoyed it!

TW for sexual assault 
I normally don’t put trigger warnings but this book is really graphic. The introduction in the new edition sets it up, but it’s dark.
However, the characters are great and it’s very fast paced

I’m rounding up a star for the narration! I like her current narrator but this one put me inside the book! This is not my first Karin  Slaughter book and I figured I should read the books in order now. This book is extremely graphic and I definitely felt uncomfortable listening to the details but overall it was a quick thriller. I guessed the ending but that’s not a deal breaker for me in the slightest.
