“What was the point of having a life if you never had the chance to live it?”
This book honestly feels like coming back home, like I remember it so well and I'm so happy that I decided to re-read it again.
I love Oliver, he is honestly the perfect man, Deliah really is the og 'I'm not like other girls' and I don't feel like we saw enough of Edgar, but from what we know about him I like him. I loved the illustrations throughout this, I feel like it added a whole new level and it showed you what the pictures in the book would've been like, I wish they added some from the real world so we could see what Oliver looked like in school.
This is what love is: never wanting to give up
I feel like it is slightly unfinished and I wish the epilogue was set 5 years into the future or there was another book at least so we could have a proper ending.
I do love this book wholeheartedly
"Listen to me Deliah. Live your life. Fall in love again." I take a deep breath. "Don't you dare wait for me"
Minor: Animal death, Bullying, Terminal illness, and Death of parent
