Dödens viskningar är (eller var) en av de varmaste hyllvärmarna i hyllan. Jag råkade ju köpa den utan att vara medveten om att den är tredje delen i en serie och då har den helt enkelt blivit stående där, övergiven. So this novel takes a different approach and have to say am not sure it fully works. This time its a more contemporary style thriller about a serial killer (which is what I like), however this story really feels long and drawn out, so by the time you get to the final twist - it's basically a bit of a let down. Overall it seems like this is a first attempt at this style of storytelling, certainly nothing like his first novel. Overall 3 stars, not bad for a raining afternoon but no real sparks for me.....

Sehr spannend und vor allem hervorragend gelesen von Johannes Steck. Man darf sich halt nicht ekeln lassen von den vielen genauen Beschreibungen der Leichen. Ein kleiner Punkteabzug für das Clichee "Ermittler von Chefs nicht geduldet"
