Hunter rescues Mercy and Khenti from the Egyptian underworld and then works to put things right from Amphitrite's influence. Even though Hunter banished Amphitrite's physical form, she is still in Goodeville spreading hate and lies about Hunter and Mercy and turning the town against them. One twin may make the ultimate sacrifice in order to heal the gateway trees. #Edelweiss+
Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC!
I loved these authors ever since I read the House of Night series and while I did enjoy this book, it felt lacking. Maybe because it's definitely YA and I don't really relate to YA as much anymore. I did like the story, world building, and it was an enjoyable fantasy read, I think I'm just aging out of the targeted audience!

This is the final book in the Sisters of Salem series. You must read them in order to understand what is going on. Told in multiple pov's. Loved the covers of the three books, but this one was the best. You could see the growth that the twins made by the end of this book. I liked the demigods and the mythology storyl7ne the best. You normally don't see witches and demigods in the same story. Side note: this is Salem, IL, not Massachusetts.

Hex You is a let down to the first two books. I had high hopes considering it was the finale but nothing was grand about it. It lacked a little in the plot and weight of the story. I am interested in the missing pieces of the story and I hope we end up getting those later because as of right now it really makes me feel meh about the story. It felt like there was too much missing.

What kind of ending was that? I was expecting much more angst and build up in the final battle with Amphitrite and so much more suspense. The climax of this book fell short of what I was expecting from a long shot.
I was also expecting more from Mercy and Khenti’s relationship than we got in the book.
This book felt rushed much like the other two books in the series. There could have been so many more details in this book then there were and much better build up and hype.
