OK, these two don’t actually fight in a ring but they aren’t far off it at times. It’s a battle of wills, intelligence and attraction between Lauren and Roman with the winner making partner at their law firm.
One of the best things about this book is that Lauren and Roman are equals in so many ways. They’re both passionate, talented lawyers. They’re quick-witted and regularly indulge in razor sharp verbal battles. They admire each other. They’re attracted to each other and, at least in the beginning, they’re fighting their feelings for one another.
This was my first T Gephart book and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait for more books in this series.

Some parts were really good, other parts were terrible. Unfortunately the bad parts outnumbered the good ones. I couldn’t stand Roman for 70% of the book and when he started behaving, it was definitely too late. Plus the sex scenes were superficial and awful.
