Great read as I head into Super Bowl weekend! Love this book and other sports novels by Grisham.

One of my favorite books. It's a fun, short read, perfect for the beach!
Very different from Grisham's other books.
The book's themes cover starting over, adapting and living in a different country/culture, building camaraderie and friendships in a team setting, sports, and of course, Italian food.
Grisham's descriptions of the food in the book made my mouth water, and also made me want to go back to visit Italy again someday....

A change of pace from what I’m used to reading and nothing like Grisham’s other stuff. A feel good read.

One of my two favorite John Grisham books--different than all of his lawyer-y books.

lame

Perfectly fine to read on a flight, though nothing earth-shattering. It actually made me like football a little less??

A fun read if you like football and Italy.

3.65 Stars. Did not expect to like this book as much as I did. Received it randomly during a white elephant work event one christmas. 4years later, I decided to give it a shot. It was a very fun, easy read that I couldn't put down. Definitely predictable and not groundbreaking whatsoever, but still thoroughly enjoyed it.

A short story.

I think from the beginning you knew what was going to happen. What I liked about this book are the descriptions about the cultural clash. However, I think after putting down the book, there were more questions than answers. Then again, I guess this is not exactly a thriller but more of a life story.

A good read.
