Bonita historia a ratos, sumamente triste en otros, aunque falla en tener un hilo lógico aún así es bonita lectura. Haz de cuenta que estás leyendo una telenovela o un K-drama, si te gustan ese tipo de historias quizá te guste este libro.
Kinda fluffy writing, but darn it, I had to finish this book for the sheer knowledge of figuring out what plot twist would come next.

Readable, but way too predictable, and way too much poetic license used. But I’m assuming that is the nature of this author’s novels, which most likely appeal to many! I just prefer something less romantical and more researched.

This was a very emotional read as it deals with the holocaust. It was so sad that we lost basically the main character half way through the book. It continues on with her daughter's story but I kept hoping we would hear about her mother and sister. Maybe it was easier not to know the details because it obviously would have been horrible things that happened to them in camp. It made for a different read having lost Beata half way through the story. Danielle Steel writes wonderful historical novels and she has an eye for lots of details.
