A charming fairy tale for not-too-bright 13 year old boys

Much better than Dreams and Shadows, on account of the decrease in whining, and increase in dogs.

It's a great sequel to Dreams and Shadows, but calls for intense focus to keep up with who said what and agreed upon what.

120 pages in. I had to call it. DNF. I really really wanted to enjoy it, but I just couldn't get into it! Definitely not as good as the first one!

I think this second story is better than the first book (Dreams & Shadows) - it feels more cohesive from start to finish. It still carries that same eerie fairy-magic atmosphere, which I love. Colby continues to be a fascinating character who is easy to cheer for.

Sehr schade!

PS: Ich will den Begriff "The Holocaust Man" nie mehr in irgendeinem Kontext lesen.
