And Then I Met You

Erica Lee

4.64 AVERAGE

I have read a lot of devastating and emotional sapphic books but killing Willow in And Then I Met You is the most devastating thing I have read. This crushing feeling is something I crave from time to time and thus this is my favourite Erica Lee book I have read.

Get ready for an emotional journey!

What a book! I am so not crying now, I have to let the tears flow.
This book had me from the first page. It is well written and was worth every minute it took to get to the end. A love story that will stay with me long after I have finished. So worth it!!!!

Like Nothing I’ve Read Before

This is a Sapphic romance. It’s not a happy ending. But it is a tremendous and inspiring love story.

No spoilers here but I’ve not read a book quite like this before. However, I can tell you that I recommend this book (and the next book too).

Read this book then go live like Willow.

This is a book that wears its conceit on its sleeve. You know what you're in for in the first few pages, and if you have the courage to go for the ride Erica certainly will hold your heart for you from the first page to the last.

Just be sure you have a box of tissues with you, as you'll need them to get through many of the chapters.

The book is brilliant. It took skill, care, and love to be able to pull it off and make it work, and it definitely works. You know better than to place your own hopes into the story, so like the other characters, you learn in the journey they're going on. At times the pages will leave your lips salty with tears, and at other times you'll be laughing and giggling along with the characters.

More than anything, the book will give you a chance to inhale the desire to make the most of each day and hold it in.

Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

After days of reading it, I still think about the characters, the story and the message of this novel.

I felt the love and passion between them both and their love story just warmed my heart while breaking it at the same time.
The somewhat open end however, left me a little unsatisfied, since I am just too curious and noisy.

Everyone should live like Willow Stone.
