I was very pleased with this one.

I think there's a sneaky reference to Gogol's The Nose early on. If so, very nice. An illumination of themes that doesn't get in the way of proceedings.

It's very rich and complicated in all the necessary ways for a play of its type. Wavers somewhat confusedly between tragedy and comedy, leaning tragedy, but I didn't mind that so much. Intentional, I'm sure.
