Boomer's Rise by K.L. Savage

5.0

I received a free ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

Boomer's Rise begins where Boomer book 2 in the Ruthless Kings series ends. It is a new series spinoff by K.L. Savage in which we follow the new group in Atlantic City.

The story is Boomer growing into his role as president of this new chapter after being voted into office by a new group of men. He is still struggling with his thoughts but is trying to be what the new club needs. In this book we get to meet the 12 new guys who become the new Ruthless Kings. The guys are working on fixing up the motel to be the new clubhouse and getting the town to trust the new Kings.

Of course there is Boomer's love Scarlett supporting her man. She is the stabilizing force to keep Boomer grounded. He loves her fiercely and she him. This is not more apparent than when he plans a girls' night for the two of them. It had me laughing so hard.

One of the things I love about this book, as well as the series, is that each man in the club has such a unique and endearing personality. It is the little details that make these men so real. I mean Arrow loves his apple juice boxes, Pulse is almost a pro ice skater and One Eye who has a glass eye but prefers to leave it out and use an eye patch instead.

K.L. Savage is an author that is a master manipulator. I was laughing one minute and ugly crying the next. The book reads fast and ended way too quickly. I can't wait to see everyone's stories play out.
