This got me back on my pirate kick (not that I ever rlly stopped loving pirates). Super engaging story, especially the second half. Keen to read the next one for sure. 

I for some stupid reason spent the first third of the book thinking West was like…a middle aged man so I was getting weirded out until I realised he was young too lmao. So didn’t feel super attached to the romance until towards the end. But that’s entirely my fault.
