Enjoyed this more than expected, a lovely, reflective, bittersweet read about relationships and our endless desperate hope to be understood. An incred depiction of an explosive first love, impulsive decisions and indulgent self-destruction.  It’s full of complex and nuanced characters, not just C&F but all those in their proximity, who can be loveable and hateable, full of hopes and dreams and traumas and flaws.
I didn’t care for Eleanor at all and idk why her narrative was in 1st person it rly threw the whole book off BUT otherwise amazing debut.
