The Vision, Volume 1: Little Worse Than A Man by Tom King

5.0

Yoo this was fucking SICK. When I heard this was somewhat what the show Wandavision was inspired from I got... the wrong idea? I love that show with my entire ass so I wanted more of that, not the Vision household taking turns creeping me out. Wandavision is obviously so different from this like the vibes do not match besides oh Vision has special family and goes to live in suburbs. I'm kind of bummed it wasn't what I thought it would be but I did end up loving this.

The overall vibe of this is CREEPY. Vision is creepy. His wife is creepy. His children are the damn creepy twins from The Shining. They all look so creepy and talk so weird and then they just go off killing people. Even the android dog is creepy okay the whole thing was just uncomfy vibes!!! Feels like I'm gonna wake up in the middle of the night and Mrs Vision going to be standing at the foot of my bed ready to shank me, damn.

I only know Vision from the MCU and this one is so different I'm terrified. Maybe it was the art or the bizarre ass way he talked but he reminded me SO much of Dr Manhattan from Watchmen??? 1 v 1 when.

This story moves slowly but the things that happen are so wild. I'm so invested but also slightly disturbed.
