It started to feel like some scenes were unnecessary towards the end and all the My Girl singing bits were a bit annoying in the end, but overall I really liked that Cole wasn't a typical Lawyer-type alpha male. He's covered in tats and has piercings in both nipples and his dick. I don't actually think I've read any books where the male is a suit wearer but also has tattoos AND piercings. I've seen a one tattoo kind of guy, or they get the girls name tattooed, which I honestly thought he would when he said he only gets tattoos of important things or whatever he said, but he didn't and I'm cool with that too.
It was definitely my favourite. There no near break up in the end you mostly find in romance books like this, which was great but because it wasn't there it felt like the scenes replacing something like that were a little odd.
I read the Temptation series before this one and was interested in the characters, I wouldn't say I was blown away by this series but I know that's mainly to do with the fact the spin off series blew me away more and while I don't like to compare books to others even spin offs or in the same series, I can't help but see now that I've read both how much growth there's been since book one. Anyway, I'm happy I read them and would definitely consider Ella Frank a favourite author, and will read some more recent books soon!
