What a crazy ride this was.
I can’t even begin to explain just how much this book had me wanting to put my kindle in the freezer. For the first 50% I spent not knowing how to feel about Sin and his attitude, especially towards Lottie but it worked out because by 60% Sin had my heart, not as much as Struan had me in book 1 but nevertheless, Sin turned out to be not just challenging but loyal and I wholeheartedly respect him, after learning about his past/childhood etc… I just wanted to hug Mr Grump.
This book carries on from the whirlwind that is Ruin - book 1, this book has many twists and turns and plenty of shock moments & was definitely up there with the spice. I’m now looking forward to starting the 3rd book - Scar and seeing where we’re headed.
Also, as stated in my bookstagram stories, I’ve never hated a character more than McInver, aside from Augustus, Hunter, Charterman and Keep that is.
If you like books that have adventure, thrills and will leave you blushing, you need to check this series out!
