Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
This series has meant so much to me and I’m forever thankful to Sarah for writing it. And to my 2 besties Kasia & Emma for buying me them for my birthday last year setting me off in this amazing journey.
I was so nervous going into this and I really wanted to savour this book as it’s the final one in the series but once I started I couldn’t stop.
I agree with a few people - perhaps it could of been a bit shorter and some things cut out, but you know what? If it was any different it wouldn’t have the same effect.
I laughed, I whooped, I smiled, I cried, I was broken and then I was remade whole and then I was broken again. This book made me feel every single emotion and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better ending to this amazing series.
I’m so sad that it’s all over now though and I truly think this final book does the series justice. I’ve seen a few people complain about this book and bash how the series ended and I can understand why, but for me personally it was perfect.
