Hannah Ashton wants to be a veterinarian and she plans to go to school in Colorado. She'll start next semester and be gone for 4 years. When she returns she'll join Bella at her practice.All Jake Matheson ever wanted to do was run the Double-Bar-K ranch when his father steps down. Leave it to Holt to start messing with his son's lives again. He tells Jake that he's to be married by the time he's 24 or he has to leave the Double-Bar-K. He's got one month to find a suitable woman and convince her to marry him. Easy...right?

Holt may be rough and gruff and he may go about everything the wrong way but I have to admit, he does get results. Those results may not be exactly what he's looking to accomplish but they're close enough. I'm so glad the author stood strong and didn't let Hannah waiver on the college thing too much.

We all know the outcome of HEA's. It's the special way this author brings these couple's together and their struggles to get where they want to be that make the Cowboys of Chance Creek so fantastic. As long as Cora Seton's writing, I'm reading!
