Mika has overcome a lot of challenges so that she can do what she loves. She’s a woman that makes no excuses. Easton has a more laid back attitude when it comes to going after what he wants. He will also do whatever is necessary.
Our author created two very different characters that for the longest time it seemed impossible that any type of relationship was going to even begin. It was very easy to feel sorry when it came to how Mika was having to earn a living. It took almost the whole story for me to warm up to Easton.
They both start to work at a business where it seems hard for women to break the cealing. It was nice to see some strong women in power. The author also includes those employees that you role your eyes at and even one that you want to do bodily harm to. I could certainly see how this would fit in with this series.
Our author show that even jerks can be redeemable. She also did a great job in creating heat between the main characters. My only issue was how Easton behaved when he first met his new coworkers. It left me wondering if this leopard can change its spots or if they just went in hiding. But it was also smart because it kept me reading right up until the end.
