Drown Her Sorrows by Melinda Leigh

challenging emotional tense fast-paced

Wow! This was a very twisted case. But what made the book come alive was Bree Taggert. It is good to see her growing into her role at work and her role with her family, as well as with her growing relationship. She is not perfect, but she is good in the ways that make her a very satisfying protagonist in my eyes.

It makes me slightly sad to finish the book, because I'll have to leave the characters until I read book 4
