BRIEF SYNOPSIS
Set in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rachel, a doctor working with the UN and 4 Canadian soldiers from the special forces unit come across important information about what's really going on in the villages. They must get this information to the necessary people to bring a stop to it, but will they make it out of the perilous jungle alive?
MY THOUGHTS
What a great debut novel. I finished it in 2 days. The main protagonists are well developed giving the reader a thorough insight to what shapes their personality, and helps us to understand their next move and thinking process as they navigate the harsh jungle environment, and circumstances they find themselves in. It's hard not to become totally invested in them and their fate.
I can't say much more without spoiling the storyline for those yet to pick this one up.
An engaging storyline with inspiring, strong and likable characters. Loved it ❤️
