Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

5.0

Clockwork Prince is the second book for my favorite Cassandra Clare series. This series is reminding me why I loves Cassandra Clare so much in nineth grade. I just love Will, Jem and Gideon so much. Can't I just marry one of them Will? No? That's a pity.

I feel so bad for Will. He had his reasons to keep everyone besides Jem far away. Will still did little things for Tessa, like writing her a poem. Will was so happy that he could finally show his feelings for Tessa. I was almost late from work because I didn't want to stop reading. I just couldn't stop myself from reading.

There wasn't as much Will as I wish there were but I'm glad Jem was always there for Tessa when he wasn't sick or avoiding her) while everyone else were too busy.

Then there's Tessa whose completely confused by her feelings. There's Jem's always sweet, kind and optimistic unless he looses his temper, usually because of Will. But then Will is hot and cold towards her and she can't help but love him too.

I loved the romances besides the love triangle in this one, like Charlotte and Henry. He doesn't show his feelings that much but it was so sweet seeing how he really felt about Charlotte. Then there's romance between Sophie and certain someone.

You might say that you don't like Cassandra Clare or Shadowhunter world but please for tour sake try The Infernal Devices. I'm not big fan of The Mortal Instruments either but I can't recommend this series enough. It's not only fantasy with vampires and demons but it's set in 1800s. I wouldn't say that I enjoy historical romance but I just love the world Cassandra Clare has created n this series. The characters are so much better than i Clare's earlier series too.
