Kill Switch by Penelope Douglas

This is a contender for one of my favorite books in this series. Up to this point, I hated Damon with a passion. I was dead set that I would never like him as a character. This book, at times, even confirmed this. Although I do still stand by the fact that Damon truly is an asshole, he is not all he was made out to be in the previous 2 books. While part of his hatred of women stems from the treatment he received from his mother, that does not excuse his actions. Yet I still found myself falling in love with him by the end of this book. I guess my daddy issues came out a little more in this than I initially expected. The writing is wonderful, as always when coming from Penelope, and the spicy scenes are amazing. The way Penelope was able to capture the world from Winter's view as someone who was blind was also truly captivating to me. The twists and turns to find out what happened that night all those years ago and who truly was at fault for the loss of Winter's eyesight was set up extremely well also. This was an incredible book overall.
