Infinite Country is a vivid, beautiful, and succinct story of two countries and one mixed-status family. Engel beautifully accents her character’s journies with Andean mythology and glimpses of Colombian land- and cityscapes. Every sentence serves a purpose; to drive the story, connect to each family member, increase understanding, and rouse compassion. Infinite Country is about what constitutes belonging and the relentless courage needed to face uncertainty. Please read this!
