I try to not have any expectations when I start a new book, especially when I’ve seen the movie the book is on. But I couldn’t stop myself from having high expectations when it came to Coraline. I just love the movie so much so I thought I’d feel the same about the book. I’m not saying it’s bad but it was very fast paced and certain things weren’t built up in the way that they should have. Although, I did really enjoy the ending.
