This book was very informative in the way the author was brutally honest about the situations her family found themselves in with her mother, who had dementia, and their varied reactions to them. It was a good lesson for me that when a caregiver is in a position like that they don’t always have objectivity in making decisions and oftentimes discount the very real danger that can occur. I learned a lot and appreciate her honesty.
