i’ve re-read this now for the 2nd time and it still remains to be one of my favourite books ever 😩 i’ll definitely pick up anything Shelby Mahurin writes in the future.

things i enjoyed:
« THE CHARACTERS !!!! oh my god literally the characters are all so well developed, so well thought of and soo realistic ugh. i need Coco and Lou in my life as besties, we’d have such an adventurous and hilarious time together 😂 and Reid… for all his flaws, i freaking adore him. i loved watching him grow up into a better man. 🥹 i could talk about each and one of them, even the nasty ones, for days on end cos they all were so unique. Madame Labelle, Ansel, Beau, even the three witches Elaina, Elodie and Elinor were well done, even though briefly introduced! and ofc Morgane. kudos to the author for actually putting effort into developing amazing characters.
« the tense between the Chasseurs and the witches. i loved their history and how they worked against each other. it was fascinating to watch the hatred between both sides.
« the friendship between Lou and Coco. legit we all need a person like one of them in our lives istg. 😩 i also gotta mention the friendship between Lou and Ansel, which was also damn precious !! he’s an angel ugh.

i’ve got nothing else to mention other than i freaking loved all of it once again and if you want a slow burn enemies to lovers fantasy about witches and witch hunters—this is it. pick this RIGHT NOW. and i’ll be off ✈️ to read the next 2 books soon :)))
