I've read GOG so many times, I'm pretty sure I could give Emily a run for her money in a Zarasthula Verses recital.

My spouse has mastered Audrey's death stare, courtesy of my laughing fits and sob sessions while reading. I know this behaviour is... strange to say the least. I don't know if other authors do this. Full disclosure: this review comes with a bias warning stronger than Glyndor's magical barriers.

Post-reading, I've developed some... peculiar habits. Spiders in my house now receive formal eviction notices and relocation packages before I move them. I've also been suspiciously eyeing caterpillars in the garden, just in case one of them is Fluffernox in disguise.

I'm still holding out hope that one day, Jelna will appear in my living room, ready to whisk me away from my 9-to-5 and into Eldora. Though knowing my luck, I'd probably arrive just in time for the Three Moon Ceremony and end up trapped in a collapsing dimension.

But that'll still be adventure I'll take any day, next to my best friends :).
