I found this book average. I don't understand all the love, though there were plenty of parts I liked.
However, I hated how Henry met Clare when he was an adult and she was a child. It could have easily been Henry travelling as a boy meeting a young Clare instead for the most part, and that would make Clare's crush on Henry more reasonable and Henry's thoughts on young Clare was less creepy.
I also thought the last part dragged a lot until the very last thirty or so pages where it was good again. overall, I liked it but I probably won't want to reread it any time soon.
