Arc review
This was everything I want in a romance novel! The setting is your typical forced proximity with some forbidden love and secret identity added to the mix. The story is fun and sweet and the main characters have great chemistry. It’s not a very spicy book, but there’s a lot of tension and romance.
I adore the main characters Gianna and Cade. Gianna knows who she is and what she wants but is also wounded and vulnerable. Cade is more unsure about himself, genuinely good person and in the end quick to realise what he wants. And I love all the other familiar characters, this series feels so homey!
The writing was smooth and the plot moved so well. The book had fun, inspirational and romantic quotes to highlight. I really like that the story has an emphasis on being true to yourself and not conforming to others’ expectations.
