Interesting book.
The story follows a man’s journal with a strange calendar setup, reminding me a little of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The story is filled with symbolism. The protagonist of the story is in my opinion yet another symbol. Good thing? I didn’t think so. The book, not big to begin with, could have been cut in half. Lots of props that go nowhere. The plot itself goes nowhere. The antagonist has no reason to antagonize really. The writing is amateurish and the plot is shallow at best. It gets more interesting in the last third of the book but then it deflates again for no reason.
If anyone has it on their reading list, push it to the bottom of it.
