Exercised: Why Something We Never Evolved to Do Is Healthy and Rewarding by Daniel E. Lieberman

5.0

My kind of book. I put this in the same category as [b:Why We Sleep|34466963|Why We Sleep Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams|Matthew Walker|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1556604137l/34466963._SY75_.jpg|55587034] and [b:Mindless Eating|129731|Mindless Eating Why We Eat More Than We Think|Brian Wansink|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1320482034l/129731._SY75_.jpg|124953] - other highly-researched books that explore health topics important for all of us. Lieberman takes an evolutionary approach to studying humans & exercise, but he also comes around to very practical suggestions for modern-day exercisers. A tad sluggish here and there, but overall very interesting.
